A Renewed Commitment to the Community

Fulton Medical Center, formerly known as Callaway Community Hospital, operates as a 37-bed acute care facility, and is the only hospital in Fulton, Missouri and Callaway County. We are committed to providing the community with quality, affordable healthcare close to home. Our physicians and staff have the expertise to provide a variety of healthcare services, while remaining dedicated to advancing the health of the region.

Community is important. When you visit Fulton Medical Center, you can count on receiving quality care from local physicians who have established themselves amongst the Fulton community and surrounding areas. Plus, with private rooms and a physician on-site around the clock, we hope you’ll feel the same level of comfort as if you were right at home. Thank you for being a part of our journey as we prove our renewed commitment to you and your neighbors.

Change & Improvement

We are undergoing a transformation to modernize the 48,450 square foot hospital and go back to our roots in orthopedics and general surgery. We recently partnered with the largest emergency medicine physician group in the country – providing our patients with the highest quality care and patient satisfaction. Our hospital provides a 24-hour emergency room, and services include surgical, laboratory, radiology and geriatric behavioral health.

In addition, up to $2 million in new capital improvements to refurbish the existing facility and site.

Immediate improvements will include all new roofing at Fulton Medical Center, renovating the clinical areas and exterior and installing new medical equipment that will improve existing services.
