EmCare manages locally-based emergency physicians and hospital medicine physicians dedicated to enhancing the level of emergency and hospital medicine care at Fulton.

In December of 2014, University of Missouri (MU) Health Care and Nueterra formed Fulton Medical Center, LLC, to purchase Fulton Medical Center, formerly known as Callaway Community Hospital. As part of a renewed commitment to the hospital, MU Health Care and Nueterra are providing up to $2 million in new capital to refurbish the existing facility and site.
